LAUNCH STRATEGY

Rimmel launched in the Norwegian market for the first time in 2017, exclusive with the retailer Vita. We developed a digital strategy designed to resonate with millennials and Generation Z.  To promote the new brand identity to consumers, the Coty-owned brand has called on existing and new ambassadors – the ‘Rimmel squad’ – described as a celebration of diversity and self-expression. We created a Norwegian Rimmel squad with four of the most popular influencers in Norway to represent the new brand.

 

The squad consisted of faces including transgender and model Emma Ellingsen, Norway's biggest Youtuber Amalie Olsen, mental-health blogger Malin Nesvoll,  and beauty blogger Isabel Hamre. The influencers call on watchers to embrace their individuality with make-up.In addition to the Rimmel squad, we recruited micro- influencers to create content on social media that was used for regramming on the Norwegian Rimmel Instagram account; @RimmelLondonNorge.
